HISTORY
Clint and Linda Bedsaul started B.C.B. Inc in January of 1984 working out of their basement for an office. Clint had a background in sales as a salesman for Holly Farms Poultry Co. among other career stops along the way. Linda Bedsaul was a registered nurse with several years of experience in office managing and secretarial skills. Their son, Brad Bedsaul came on board in 1986 upon his graduation from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a business degree. This family maintains this well-respected company in the industry with good old-fashioned values of honesty, hard work, and a Christian focus.
BCB Inc. started in January 1984 with 3 trucks and 5 trailers in the town of Sparta NC. It's first terminal was built in 1984 on the north side of town with 3 offices and 1 small shop. In 1985 the company decided to provide service exclusively to the west coast and deliver produce from CA, AZ, OR, and WA to the East Coast. With the trucks growing to 12 trucks and 20 trailers BCB Inc. decided to build a new terminal 3 miles south of Sparta NC on US HWY 21 in 1986. Deciding to start consolidation of LTL in 1987 spurred the expansion of a warehouse and dock facility. In the early 1990s BCB switched from hauling produce to dry freight. By making subtle changes to the company and the way it did it's business, BCB Inc. found a niche where it could provide a tremendous service for its customers. With the help of many qualified and dedicated employees and the wonderful customers, BCB Inc has grown to over 175 pieces of equipment, a terminal and property covering over 8 acres. We thank God first, our customers, and our employees for the over 20 years of service that BCB Inc. has been able to provide to the transportation industry.
